Board of Trustees

President -- Christopher Brookes was born to loving parents in Grand Rapids, MN in 1949 and was blessed with three younger brothers. His father’s corporate career took the family to the suburbs of southeast Cleveland, Ohio where the family resided for many years, with annual summer vacations in Maine.

Chris’ father passed from this green Earth at an early age and Chris left college to go to work full time in sales and was married. He is the proud father of three wonderful grown daughters. His mother now lives in the Portland area, as do two brothers and their families. Chris was inducted to the Board of Trustees in early 2006 and is humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve. He counts himself among the blessed, living in Maine!

Vice President -- Chief Master Sergeant Harry L. Marsters II is the Maintenance Superintendent and Chief Enlisted Manager, Combat Mission Systems Flight for the 265th Combat Communications Squadron, South Portland ANG Station, South Portland, Maine. He serves as the advisor to the unit commander on technical and enlisted matters and as an advisor to the Chief of Maintenance and work center supervisors. Chief Marsters is active in the community, serving as Communications Director for the Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency; Technical Advisor for the Cumberland County Regional Communications Center; Emergency Coordinator and Government Liaison for the American Radio Relay League in Maine; Deacon and member of the Ministry of Property for his local church; Moderator for the Cumberland Association, United Church of Christ; and a member of the Board of Directors for Grace Street Ministry Homeless Street Ministry in Portland and the First Radio Parish Church of America. He and his Wife Ginny reside in Portland.

Treasurer -- Barbara Campbell Harvey is originally from Newton, MA and she migrated back home to Maine after living in many different states and countries. After eight years as the Head Librarian at Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library, she moved to "just a member of the team" at Bowdoin College Library in Brunswick, ME, where she has worked for ten years, so far. While in Boothbay, Barbara played in the local Community/Alumni Band; was Co-Chairman of the Harold B. Clifford Playground Project; a School Trustee; Church Clerk at the Congregational Church in Boothbay Harbor, ME and an active member of the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club. Barbara is an active member of the Bowdoin community through sports, music and volunteer work on and off campus. Barbara's only daughter, Abbigail, graduated from college and is now a teacher in Massachusetts. Barbara lives in South Portland."

Secretary -- Kimberly Cressey, born and raised in Portland, Maine, is a TD Bank, N.A. employee. In her 20 years with the Bank, she has held various positions in the Investment, Government Banking, and Consumer Lending areas and is currently working in the Community Capital Group. Kim is an active member of the Stevens Avenue Congregational Church UCC. Kim has been a Sunday School teacher, Chair of the Board of Christian Education, Deacon, co-chair of the Ministry of Worship and Community Life and has served as a member of the Council of Ministries which is the Church's Executive Council. She is currently President of the Stevens Avenue Congregational Church Ladies Evening Guild. Kim is also a part-time student at Saint Joseph's College pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Her hope is to one day attend seminary.

Rev. Derek White is pastor of the First Congregational Church in Kennebunkport and holds a Masters of Divinity from the Chicago Theological Seminary. He is ordained in the United Church of Christ.

Rabbi Harry Z. Sky, Emirita, receiver of the prestigious Catalyst for Change Award in 2007, has been called a “giant” in the American rabbinate. His vision and passion for Jewish and human change and for social justice have helped to shape the future of Maine and the nation. He marched in the racially charged streets of Selma, Alabama, shared the vision of a new American dream with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the March on Washington, and preached from the pulpits of hundreds of Christian congregations, speaking out for the rights of African Americans, women, the gay community, the poor, and the helpless. His mother already called him a royter mazik, Yiddish for a redheaded rascal.

Reverend Theodore Kanellakis was born in Brooklyn, and grew up in Queens, NY. He joined the New York City Police Department in 1965. He is married to Susan Brooks Kanellakis. Mid career he felt called to study and prepare for ordained ministry in the Episcopal Church. He was ordained in 1982. Ted retired as a Lieutenant from the NYCPD in 1990 to serve two parishes in upstate New York over the next 15 years. After Ted retired in 2005 and he and Susan moved to Camden, Maine where they live with their standard poodle, Lola. They have a daughter, Elizabeth and three grandchildren.

Kathleen Lynch Bolduc, retired, is formerly the Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Hartford Arts Council, an organization that supports more than 150 arts and heritage organizations in 34 towns in the capital region of Connecticut. The GHAC is ranked in the country’s Top 10 United Arts funds by Americans for the Arts and is also New England’s largest independent arts council. Prior to her role at the Greater Hartford Arts Council Kate was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Travelers Companies. She was responsible for the company’s branding, public relations, marketing, communications and advertising. Most notably, she led the effort that resulted in the return of the red umbrella icon back to Travelers in 2007.
